Since 1900, from the ancient tradition of Molise craftsmanship are born dairy products of the family Antenucci, obtained exclusively with the processing of raw cow's milk from the mountain pastures of Alto Molise and with the techniques and processing equipment of the past, to ensure the typicality, as well as the goodness and authenticity.

The history of Caseificio Antenucci Mario begins in the territory of Alto Molise, specifically in Vastogirardi, a small mountain village located almost 1200 meters above sea level and inhabited by less than 1000 inhabitants. Here in the early years of the twentieth century, Felice Antenucci and Maria Antonia Patete, until then devoted to agriculture and sheep farming, undertook a small but important activity related to milk processing.

With passion they handed down the processing techniques and the secrets of this ancient craft to their son Giuseppe Antenucci and his wife Adele who continued the activity. In the early fifties, Giuseppe's sons, including Mario, learned the secrets of the trade and decided to continue the family dairy business independently, transferring the production site to Agnone, a more important and richer town from a historical, cultural, economic and tourist point of view.
