Molisano Apple Vinegar - Antico Palmento
This natural apple vinegar is unpasteurized and unfiltered.
It is made from local apple varieties grown in the Molise area of the PNALM (Abruzzo, Lazio, and Molise National Park).
It is vinified without the use of additives.
An ancient wine press dating back to 1864 is used to press the apples. Through gentle and constant pressing, the wonderful beneficial properties of the apples are extracted to the fullest.
The Palmento is a press of ancient origin.
With the advent of hydraulic presses, PALMENTI were abandoned and the stones were used as ornaments in the gardens in front of houses. The producer has restored and put back into operation a palmento that belonged to his grandfather.
