With the same consistency as caciocavallo, this semi-mature pasta filata cheese is characterized by a mellow and intense taste, with sweet and pleasant notes.

Like caciocavallo, Caciocampana can be eaten alone, as an aperitif or appetizer, or it can be combined with various foods to make good and original recipes. Its meltability makes it ideal for bruschetta, stringy fillings and tasteful stuffing.
